While Koda Kumi's style isn't really my thing,
I absolutely love her. Why? Because she is a sexy, bad ass bitch. That’s why. She’s sexual, in-your-face, and absolutely unapologetic. It’s something you never see in the Japanese music industry. She’s such a refreshing break from the cutesy, formulaic, superficial, submissive-charactered and high-pitched mess that is most of mainstream Japanese music. She owns her sexuality and that is why she is awesome.
